We provided a new design approach to not only address the concerns raised by Council to allow an approval to be granted, but maintain and optimise the development yield and mix on the site whilst significantly improving amenity and the quality of the resident open space provided on the site to help foster a sense of community

Following concerns raised by Council regarding planning compliance and design response, sdarchitecture was engaged to assist with the architetcural concept design and planning submission documentation for a 14 apartment seniors living development in Campbelltown.

The project site is well located within walking distance to the central business district and will provide much needed independant living unit accomodation to the area, designed to meet Seniors Living SEPP and SEPP 65 Apartment Design Guide requirements.

One of the key improvements to the scheme is the addition of the landscaped community garden which provides a private space for residents to enjoy their environment with the neighbours within close proximity to their homes.

We worked closely with the Client and Planning Consultant to address the concerns raised by Council to allow an approval to be granted, and and optimise the development yield and mix on the site and improving resident amenity to help foster a sense of community.
